IMO hope (crossing of fingers, toes and whatever else) is not a strategy.

I think we will get a good idea of whether ECT/shareholders are up sh!t creek without a paddle well before 31 March. I think we just need to wait for the announcement about ECTs plans to come up with the cash/bond that they need. 

IMO, if they've got the $$$ sorted and all parties legally agree to the (frozen) terms of the RCA, then, IMO, it is a question of timing to get the required people in the room to get this signed.

And I'd bet almost everyone can remember how ECT has been burned by "scheduling conflicts" before, so that is not a trivial matter.

But it seems that management have learned from this and have what looks like a 4 week window in March to find a time for the signing.

I think it is time for ECT management to show why they deserve to be there drawing those big salaries. Close but no cigar just won't cut it this time.

Close the deal and make history.
