Transpired exactly as @chin4 said to the derisive snorts of the Gang, who didn't know who they were talking about but were confident they knew better. Its terrific to see this support from key shareholders which I'm sure is echoed by some mid-rankers who have available cash. Funding the bond with ELF incentives will turn out to be a very inexpensive way of raising the required capital compared to a cap raise and all the dilution has already been factored in.
