I am of the opinion some of the patents may have already been expired and some to expire soon.

I think the MATMOR patent may have been expired, however, the patent of the actual extract is still valid and don't remember the year of expiry.

Above is a vague recollection. Please DYOR.

I am not sure what else is there to project the IP especially when there are detailed discussions with companies, contractors, engineering firms etc.,

Would the game plan for Indians be, to expire as many patents as possible.

I am sure NLCIL could come at last minute that the newly transitioned people have a different dictionary and calendar to look at and settling down with the job.

Indian Central Government election is due in 2019, could be some time in March/April.

IMO if ECT does not question itself what else could delay (people going on leave, training, twiddling, I think......so on), then SP could be a disaster.

If existing Indian central gov is ousted in 2019, then the writing is on the wall for ECT.
