Just thought I’d do a bit of research into the size of the market that has been opened up in India with the above tender approvals, before the likes of Loopey jump on here and carry on about us not having public hospitals on board - YET.
The Indian military is the second largest in the world with 1.5 mil active personnel, 1.1 mil reservists and X number of ancillary staff plus family members.
Indian Railways employs 1.25 mil staff.
These numbers pale when placed next to the number of patients covered by the Employees State Insurance Hospitals - currently sitting at just over 120 million!!!!
Not a bad start!!!!!!
