I would say (IMO) the trip over here is for a mixture of things. As mentioned above - I wouldn't think these guys travel abroad just to collect fridge magnets.
There's probably elements of a 'swan trip' to it. That's standard. There's likely to be LV vists including photo ops / hand shandies with pollies and industry/trade leaders. ...and obv collecting trinkets to take back home. It will also likely include a business focused agenda, pre-scheduled times for resolving any amendments which are likely going to be outstanding at the time.
Given the importance of the project to India, rather than Australia - I would be extremely surprised to see the MPA signing over here. But you never know.
