If only it was so simple, change the incentives and just like that alpha is generated. I think a large part of the recent outperformance is due to the market / environment changing to suit their style. Extreme volatility creates mispriced opportunities. These situations do not exist often. Do not be reliant on 1 style for performance, you need several investing styles in a portfolio.
