To have a blend of green hydrogen in the same pipe as natural gas doesn’t make economical sense when using it to convert to Ammonia.
When manufacturing Ammonia you first heat the natural gas to over 700 deg and pass it through a catalyst to extract the Hydrogen required, this would be an unnecessary cost when it is already in the form required. To make it more economical it would be best piped into the process towards the backend of the manufacturing which would have significant cost saving.
For the normal domestic market it may work in the same pipe but would be concerned over hydrogen embrittlement which comes with hydrogen at certain pressures and temps
