Don't forget that there is a lot more tailwind now when you take into account the government/public interest and funding than it was when VUL started. Countries and companies are going to be racing to be the first to market for products+advancements like these. Also with bigger players like Andrew Forrest to advocate for this tech, I think we would be able to fast-track the progress as much as possible.

Take for example vaccines in ~300 days vs almost double the time that we were told it would arrive - but of course with not as dramatic of an improvement.
