Tesla's Iron phosphate battery has the lowest energy retention of around 260WH/kg or less giving 300 miles range per charge on a real good day , lightly loaded and yes good for 1500 cycles and up to 500,000 miles .
The market would prefer a silicon anode battery giving a 600 plus miles range on a single charge with a 520 WH/kg energy retention , battery still good for 500,000 miles that requires only 750 battery charges to get there , in this case les charges gets you much further with a smaller , lighter and cheaper battery .
Interesting today's presentation there is a $900 per car battery saving on top of that extra performance , only a matter of a short time till the battery /EV manufactures pick up on this and will need Anteo X to improve competitiveness , when one Major EV manufacturer has Anteo x , the rest will follow.
