What's the hurry to sell IFN? They've just got everything sorted, we get a decent divvy to hold, and the world pushes towards green energy and ethical investments are only going to accelerate. Australian energy policy has really begun to shift in the last couple years towards renewable too. In other words: this business will only get more desirable, to prospective owners and hedge funds.
You have a point if other bidders step up - but that's a complete unknown and if they don't, we're left with a Board-recommended sell @ 86cents. Seems to me putting a 2 month time limit on IFN, is completely unnecessary - that's treating IFN like an options trade, rather than a stock investment.
