Dr WvdH may have originally built the foundations for the 4DS and Infineon engagement but could never come to fruition until 4DS Memory proved certain technology data sets (Platform 4/5).
These heavyweights such as Infineon are very secretive and this latest engagement with Infineon may not appear as it seems.
This is all speculation but this design agreement with Infineon based on 4DS requirements does not make any sense. Usually customers such as Infineon would define the requirements for a macro platform to validate production / system integration before launching the technology to market.
