It doesn't make sense. So for 10 years this company has done anything but rush. Everything at a snail pace much by necessity. By their own admission they knew they needed this step years ago, so would have had a good idea about what's involved.
So suddenly DM decides to throw caution to the wind and shoot an unplanned CR from the hip because he got so excited and thought after a decade of working at snails pace, now is a good time to rush something without due consideration?
Perhaps he just couldnt find the right story to sell investors and the CR failed?
The DM apologists seem to be going down the line that this failed CR is good because it clearly shows DM was so excited he didn't think reasonable planning was necessary any longer...and thats a good thing?
