    NSL CONSOLIDATED: INDIAN PLANT ATTRACTS NEW BUYER

    Australian-based NSL has had more success with its Kurnool iron ore processing plant in Andhra Pradesh, India with a purchase order for 20,000t of 63% Fe premium product from its wet beneficiation plant. The order from a new customer, Infinity Ores, follows the company's 4,000t purchase in Feb by BMM Ispat. Both orders carry a $A65/t ex-gate sales price, although Infinity will pay in advance in 1,000t lots. MD-CEO Nigel Goode says the new order diversifies NSL's customer base on better commercial terms that reflect the strength of the domestic market.

    NSL has reached agreement with Chinese global EPC provider Shandong Xinhai Mining Technology & Equipment on a strategic cooperation to further its exposure in the growing Indian economy for the provision of beneficiation plants up to 2.5Mtpa.

    Australian company NSL, the only foreign owner-operator in the India's hectic iron ore market, is beginning to see the results it aimed for with the an order for 4,000t premium iron ore from its processing plant at Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh. NSL says the order for 63% Fe filter cake is at $A65/t, representing higher grade and prices than previously indicated. MD-CEO Cedric Goode says the order from BMM Ispat is its first commercial purchase order for the premium product produced by its Phase 2 wet beneficiation plant.

    NSL CONSOLIDATED: INDIAN STATE ALLOTS STEEL PLANT LAND

    NSL's ambition to establish greenfield steel and pellet manufacturing facilities in India have been given a boost with the formal allotment by the Andhra Pradesh of land for both plants to its JV with Chinese heavy equipment maker Wei Hua Group. Work is continuing to progress the PFS on the pellet plant, in line with its Indian iron ore beneficiation strategy, and MD-CEO Cedric Goode says talks will resume with potential EPC partners following the Chinese new year.

    Australian-based NSL has strengthened its balance sheet, eliminating all outstanding debt through the conversion of $US2.5M notes held by Resources First to 90.7M shares at $0.038 plus $A500,000 cash payment. MD-CEO Cedric Goode says the renegotiation on more favourable terms highlights Resources First's confidence in NSL's progress and strategy.

    The on-schedule start of Phase 2 wet beneficiation plant commissioning keeps NSL on target for Dec qtr positive cash-flow at its Andhra Pradesh iron ore project in India. MD Cedric Goode says the Australian company's on-site team has maintained progress despite recent heavy rainfall and a hectic festival season in southern India. The wet beneficiation process will enable NSL to produce around 200,000tpa of 58-62% premium price iron ore. Like its existing dry processing plant at Kurnool, the plant will be serviced by its nearby Kuja and Mangal mines.

    NSL CONSOLIDATED: FUNDS RUSH PLACEMENT FOR INDIAN PROJECT

    NSL will accelerate the expansion of its Andhra Pradesh iron ore plant in India after a flood of applications from investment funds boosted a share placement to $A3.4M from its target of $2M. The investors grabbed the shares at 2cps, a 21% premium to its 30-day VWAP. MD Cedric Goode attributes the oversubscription to a groundswell of interest in NSL and India's economic growth. The new plant now due for completion in the Dec qtr will add 200,000tpa capacity.

    NSL CONSOL: CHINA'S WEI HUA JOINS INDIAN STEEL PLANT PROJECT

    NSL has signed a binding agreement with Chinese heavy equipment manufacturer Wei Hua Group on a 50-50 JV to develop a greenfield steel-making plant in Andhra Pradesh, India. MD Cedric Goode says NSL will be responsible for the plant construction and operation, with no funding requirement. Wei Hua will provide all plant equipment.

    NSL has signed an MoU with Chinese heavy equipment company Wei Hua Group to build a steel-making plant taking advantage of the Australian-based company's success as the only foreign owner and operator of iron ore mines in India. The plan complements NSL's agreement with the Andhra Pradesh govt to expand its mining and beneficiation operations to over 8Mtpa and support other significant projects in the state.

    Indian iron ore miner NSL is moving a step closer to the expansion of its Kurnool project in Andhra Pradesh to 200,000tpa high-grade premium-price iron ore of 58-62% Fe grade with shipment of the Phase 2 wet beneficiation plant from China to start next week. The new plant will join the existing dry processing plant operation at Kurnool to treat ore from the nearby Kuja and Mangal mines, and is on track for Sept qtr commissioning and Dec qtr positive cash flow
