Yes, in order to make the playing field a bit more level for the little guy, the short seller industry has decided to send its agents out onto stock forums to signal shorting intentions ahead of time.
(Although, as short seller apparatchiks, surely we should be talking the stock up, not down, so that our short-seller handlers are able to sell from higher, not lower, prices?)
