I think this is the bit I find most disheartening.
Big Pharma ODAC: 9-1, that's a big tick from us says TGA
Mesoblast: ODAC: 9-1, but how do the cells work? What is the mode of operation? Are they consistently distributed?
Imagine how different the Mesoblast state of the world had it been approved back then?
Some will say big Pharma would have been rejected as well, but then there are plenty of examples of ODAC results far worse than ours with far worse data that get through.
So it's not a plot as such, but the Playing field is definitely not level.
