At an inner Melbourne WOW today, I purchased ING frozen chicken tenders (400 grams) for A$5.,00, up from recently $4.50 and not long ago $4.00.
But what took my attention was that on the shelf below, competitor Baiada's Steggles frozen chicken pieces premium breast fingers and separately, chicken nuggets (also 400g) were being sold for A$5.50.
So ING not only had its similar offering at a cheaper retail price, but it was also more at eye level, which has been proven to lead to more supermarket sales.
