And with the constant focus on how advisers are charging their fees, not to mention the constant downward pressure (particularly at the lower FUA end), many are searching for new ways to maintain or protecr old revenue streams. That's why I see FP businesses, almost daily, looking to establish SMA's for their model portfolio's so they can charge an investment management fee. A 40% saving eliminates the need to do any of that. But what would I know, I only do this for a living.....
