Yes Shaun would have had contact with and has been probably been well known by BRN Management through his past position with PGi.
This would have made it a tricky position to acquire any shares pre-BRN employment also. Its a specialist area which I imagine would be covered by one of your old USA Based colleagues. (lawyers)
Taking part in a CR is one way for management to acquire shares in their company, aside from usual bonuses etc.

Shauns past with PGi also explains how he would have become aware of BRN and its products. It also means prior to Shaun we probably had exposure to Cisco, Microsoft and PGi among others and now those relationships Shaun had with these companies will be expanded to include new relationships with BrainChip.
Very interesting thought and quite compelling! The trust and personal relationships he would have made, bodes well for us.
