Why hire a director to sell the shop when the shop is just about to open with stuff on its shelves? I detect significant aspirations here.

I would expect his value to be useful because of his expertise in evaluating such incoming bids, but probably more likely in helping to evaluate and acquire or form joint ventures with other companies within our field. I am of the opinion that AP will be setting a course towards commercialisation of its products in the best possible ways forward for itself, not for those who would try to gobble it up, and that will undoubtedly involve selling product to the consumer and professional audio markets.
