Hi KL, it is an ASX requirement and there is nothing wrong with a director not having any shares.

Appendix 3X is the initial directors shareholdings on appointment
Appendix 3Y records any + or - changes
Appendix 3Z lists the directors shareholdings on resignation.

IMO, it is a good thing that not every director has skin in the game. A mix of male and female directors with holdings and/or non holdings means a diversity of thinking and decision making at Board level.

Not having a holding often means less conflicts of interest when dealing with the company's assets similar to acting like a trustee on behalf of beneficiaries.

PF might also be independently wealthy and have a network of high net worth friends readying themselves to take positions on the share registry.
