That's not true regarding Ms Thomas. Independent directors are just non-executive directors (NED). She can still be a shareholder, she just can't be a substantial shareholder.

You're probably right about Talbot. It's not the normal appointment of a director, so he probably won't be buying. Would still be bullish if he did.
