Keep in mind, when those options are in the money, Burton still needs to outlay $2.1m to exercise them. I have no doubt Atrum will pass that strike within the next 6-12 months, so 4 years to expiry is a nice deal. But if Burton plays an instrumental role in progressing Atrum from explorer to producer (and creating shareholder value along the way), then he will deserve every cent he makes from those options.

I think Burton is a great addition to the board, as Wirapundi highlighted above, he brings experience, a vast network and is motivated with plenty of skin in the game.
