South Australian Premier and Treasurer were on the wireless yesterday (5AA) and as expected the lack of stable supply of electricity and highest cost was a hot topic. Apart from the usual spin that dribbles from the left side of their face the Chicken Shop treasurer and racing car driver commented that State Govt money could be considered to assist businesses in converting to solar and battery storage if the power retailers continue to increase prices. In reference to a Drakes ( Independent supermarkets ) tender for power resulted in a 2.4 million dollar increase pa and only 3 out of a possible 11 responses were presented. Would be good for holders if AVL could lead the way in this SA with some battery sales. Send in the reps I think the business community would be happy to see alternatives.
