Don't forget the combined value equates to $0.54 (CNQ) + $1.82 (SRL) = $2.36 at 9:58am.
CNQ opened at $0.80 and SRL at $1.85, so the combined upside price is $2.65 which is nice to see.
The current downgrade in CNQ share price is due to early profit taking and unknown understanding of the potential of the water business.
In the words of Donald Rumsfeld, “because as we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns—the ones we don't know we don't know".
