Lithium batteries have more complex electronics and requiring cooling via fans / air conditioning than VRFB , they both do the same thing , both in containers , just different chemistries . so is that really the issue ?

The coy sourced electrolyte for the Busselton , the two batteries in Victoria and the three that are on trial , two in WA and one on east coast . Was never an issue when installing . Welcome correction. Nothing since for over a year
Hurdles can be overcome if that is their intention

I presume the electrolyte for these batteries was imported , added costs to import maybe the issue , AVL have an agreement with American Vanadium for supply

Why are VRFB on trial here in AU with all the limitations of Lithium ion ( catching fire , limited cycles etc ) along with the VRFB installations overseas
VRFB have been round since 1985 and before that with NASA .

Lithium batteries are with momentum with the installation of these 11 plus lithium ion batteries . Might allow VRFB a consideration in ten years time

I'm thinking the VRFB are not price competitive when compared to the lithium ion battery
    should I add currently
the price of Lithium recently went to all time highs ,
vanadium price has started to move higher .The lower cost price of the electrolyte should have given the VRFB an advantage . Doesn't appear that was the case

maybe it's due to the success of the Hornsdale ( Musk ) Battery and the others installed , the fires ignored . Built within 100 days . Challenges work

invested for over a year in another coy in the Gascoyne region , I cannot believe how enthusiastic the MD and his team are , it is infectious , the MD an inspirational leader .
recently did a CR for $20mil from institutions completed on a Sunday in this financial climate .

it took two CR to bring out AVL's somewhat open ended , two year delayed BFS
snails pace here , waiting for what ? little communication in regards to the mining , processing and refining plants
The recent YouTube videos were very lackluster, same over again

What's VSun doing ? anyone heard ? Do they intend to manufacture here in AU ?
Grid scale energy storage is happening here in AU , where is VSun positioned in this scenario ?
With the Greens and Labor in power and embracing as well as throwing money at renewables , whats the delay here ? Time for me to reread the recent Ann's and look for timelines

    Prove me wrong Vince !!!
