I agree $100k is basically nothing for someone with his age, experience and the roles and companies hes been with

however with all his chair and board positions, i cant see how he wouldnt be able to cough up huge amounts for each company out of nowhere especially in current economy and market....

i would have liked him to put way more at stake, relinquish at least 2 of his other chair/board positions in other companies to focus on HIO

if he can make HIO in to what it needs to be, he doesnt need stakes in 4-5 other companies
