I have just started looking at shorts again after 4 weeks
The reported cumulative shorts at 17.8 was 733006. The daily gross shorts yesterday were 41371 which was probably about 25% of the volume so it was easy to suppress on these smaller volumes of late. I am assuming the daily shorts for the 3 days which I cant see after 17.8 may be 100k If I add the USA shorts of 77k then total shorts could be around 950k which is an all time high.
Shorting on the heels of the appointment of this trio of deeply experienced and commercially and politically well- connected directors and the listing on the OTCQX is a very risky move but also a desperate move to try to impede a NASDAQ listing. I predict a short squeeze later this year.
