Well i'm watcching and looking forward to hopefully positive news regarding steel haulage from the east coast to the west coast.
Qube says the east coast bsl business will make bsl their largest customer.
For NP to lose that business suggests maybe some arrogance, feeling they have a monopoly as they had bsl national business.
It has apprently required qube to buy 4 new engines plus rolling stock.? $74 m.
So as posted in six months bis expects to find alternate transport from coastal shipping.
It could only be NP or AZJ.
By memory a poster which i wont name because i may misquote suggested TGE acted like a monolpoly which they were to WA.
So does bis and bsl feel the same and go with azj or will NP change their ways.?
Because the east coast to WA steel haulage business is substantial.
As posted i like the business model of azj but if i feel management is not performing i will not hesitate to trim or sell out.
