Dr Allan is a food industry and agribusiness specialist who has held senior executive and director positions in the food, agriculture and education sectors and has an academic background in biomedical science, management and law.

Dr Allan is the Chancellor of Charles Sturt University, Chair of Wine Australia, Chair of Smart Sat CRC, Chair Corregeo Limited and Chair of Defence CRC for Trusted Autonomous Systems. Her current board positions include CSIRO, MJ Chicken Pty Ltd, Food Agility CRC and Dairy Food Safety Victoria.

Thats 5 current chair appointments. Seriously, thats far too many for one person to be effective in. Add to that NED appointments at 4 other organisation. So thats now a total of 10 Director jobs, many of them with very large entities. Seriously?

Undoubtedly a high calibre individual with a keen mind. A very impressive resume. Director of anything that moves apparently - NED roles for the past 20 years. Probably exceptionally well connected.

However corporate career has mostly been in food science roles. I would put money on her never having raised an investment dollar from the private sector or ever have sold a single SKU in her life.

I'd eat my hat if she ever finds time to devote more than 5 hours per month to TGH. Likelihood of moving the corporate dial? Precisely frikken zero.

Not that it matters. From the state of the TGN treads, nobody cares about this garbage company with an excellent technology estate.
