As an insider, he can only buy if there is no inside news, so if he buys legally, there is no news. Nothing happening! Meaning no projects, no capital raise, no discoveries, no bail out approaches, nothing, so his purchase would also not be a sign of confidence, just a pump up.

So if he does buy, then that would mean there is something happening, but his purchase would be at a time of inside knowledge. Such a purchase would mean he has been able to buy ahead of anyone else who does not have the inside knowledge.

So legally and logically the CEO/MD cannot buy into GCM.

I've never been a fan of directors and executives buying stock anyway because if they are doing their job, there is always something happening that none of the rest of us know about. So to see his zero holding in the recent announcement id not faze me.

i suppose.. though getting free shares is just bad. Can put positions in prior to news and no one knows about it.

Also its not like we get good news here anyway. Well i mean that even if good news it may do nothing anyway. Seen that plenty of times. Thanks instos.
