That's a massive balls-up with the sampling, really heads should roll.
Why did they continue drilling and wasting money, when RC obviously wasn't working??
Their stated next steps are even more RC drilling 600 holes for 12,000m!
Well I guess if it's only ALK's money who cares.
Sonic drilling costs ~$250/m, so the next program if done properly will cost something like $3M.
