TMZ has been on my watch list and this announcement is very interesting indeed. Will be looking to pick up a parcel before it gets too far down the runway today.
I see Thompson are currently calculating a a JORC for the halo of 5 deposits, although note there is a 2014 MRE from previous owners for Twin Hills:
What really piqued my interest was that the accompanying Cu and Au recoveries from the cyanidation testwork for the three deposit composites were in line with Ag recovery and generally high - 72%, 75% and 87% for Cu for example. Note that Core Resources, who carried out the testwork, also piloted, designed, and commissioned a SART plant for White Dam for GBM resources back in mid 2020. The SART plant has been working exceptionally well, recovering the cyanide leached Cu (and some of the Ag) to a 60% w/w Cu sulphide concentrate for direct sale to smelters, whilst regenerating cyanide reagent.
Could this be a future strategy in the processing hub to realise any Cu payables? I am not sure on the Cu grade in the JORC across Twin Hills, Mt Gunyan & Silver Spur (interested to hear if there is any indication thereof?), but if they do recover Cu as a payable, that would seriously reduce AISC for the Ag production!
I haven't been following this company closely, but it looks like the upcoming JORC is the big ticket catalyst near term?
