The trial commenced in December 2021, with initial patients enrolled in April 2022, and initial data from the first 6 patients was first shared with potential new shareholders (instead of existing ones!) in April 2023 when they passed the hat around for a CR. They have opened another 3 clinical sites just prior to that in March 2023, at which stage the company announced that they aim "
to complete recruitment mid-way through 2023 with trial results and top-line data to be released by the end of the year". However, with the company only able to share data of an additional 10 patients plus the first 6 patients that have completed the 10-week follow-up time point (
study conclusion is 24 weeks), this is overall disappointing in my opinion and is something that management could/should have already been aware of at the AGM based on the past track record.
With now 18 likes, the delay announcement ranks even higher than the Phase 3 SCUlpTOR enrolment completion announcement, which says a lot about how patient Cynata shareholders are with management at this stage, despite our former CEO claiming otherwise.
It is time for management to deliver on these forever near-term catalysts before money runs out and they have to pass the hat around once again, without holding any tangible leverage. I'm not even going to mention partnerships...
