This is significant news for Desert Metals.

This is the first time in Australia's history Dr Rob Stuart has confirmed that massive sulphides created these conductors at Innouendy and not magnetite as per previous explorers' beliefs.

Awaiting assay results including the 22metres of disseminated and massive sulphides containing pyrotite and chalcopyrite (copper/iron).

"Visual results from drill core confirm that the eastern plate at Innouendy is caused by disseminated to massive sulphides and not magnetite as hypothesised by previous explorers. It is believed to be the first significant intersection of intrusive magmatic massive sulphide anywhere in the Narryer, confirms the applicability of the exploration model, and upgrades the prospectivity of Desert’s entire license package over the North-western Craton margin (> 1600 sqkm)

All these years, it was believed that there was no massive sulphides in the region. This has now been proven wrong.

Congratulations to Dr Rob Stuart on this very important discovery for the entire 1,600square km of land in this region that Desert Metals has in their tenement package.

Very keen to see the assay results of these conductors at Innouendy and at Irrida Hill where the drill rig is heading now.
