Specifically, each ton treated will go from extracting approximately 50 percent of the available lithium to extracting 90 percent. Some operations will also be eliminated, such as roasting and the gas consumption associated with it, while energy will be co-generated that can be applied in the leaching, evaporation and crystallization processes.
