Genuine question. What has been the main topic/areas in which the find value from your Advisor?
Retirement planning?
Superannuation?
Portfolio setup and/or administration including via a platform with an Advisor Portal?
Access to other products?
Tax advice?
Individual stock selection?
just someone to bounce ideas off?
All of the above or other?
My friends use them but I had a bad experience in my 30s and have avoided them ever since. The few I've met privately have either been capable but one-paced (e.g. work primarily for Industry Funds) or self-interested and not particularly well-informed.
To the best of my knowledge I've never met an IFL affiliated Advisor.
