i can just see them now sitting around the boardroom going "shall we issue extension of time again....."
My guess is that the continued strong buying around 16 is not beacouse of 16.50 offer, but more likely that tata will push for higher bid and this will be the only way the deal will go thru with rio or another bidder in the near future.
