It’s actually closer to 30 years, if you count when they first discovered the mineralisation, and began the process back in 1992 I think it was. So has been a very long time coming. Its also what makes me cautious of the junior explorers that announce rock chip samples showing ree, and seeing people suddenly buy in. The time and money it takes to get from that point to a mine is a long, hard road. 30 years for ASM and still not there yet. But given the long timeline, when the supply crunch happens, the lead time to get a new project going is so long, you can’t just turn the tap on, you need to think 20-30 years ahead. Sadly, it’s not really happening, and it’s only when we run out of stuff, and an iPhone costs $10,000 due to cost of materials, people will realise what they should have done 20 years earlier.
