A few of us have been following for a long time and done very well out of a solid consistent management of Alkane and ASM.
I am 90% sure they were just pushing too hard at a very trying time and had to reevaluate because they were trying for too much at one time with a new process, inconsistent staff levels due to Covid and very tough supply chain conditions.
Unfortunately we just didn't know how tough it was as the fund buying was masking it.
I may be wrong but the capital raising which really surprised me may be easily explainable. I thought KOMIR was supplying the raw materials and they still might be but only for Korean sales. Now ASM is looking at a possible U.S. sale they have to source their own oxides.
It is all just supposition, but it makes sense and hopefully we will see sales contracts for Korea and the U.S. soon.
