I do not see it as a red flag. DW’s fault was to get carried away accepting a very optimistic timeline for payback of the matallisation plant when the newly proven technique was assessed for commercial scale. Rowena was not on board at that stage and had nothing to do with it. Very likely she as the new Operations exec brought on board to get it up and running was the one who pulled things down to earth. There is no way that a newly designed plant was going to be built, commissioned with optimisation and paying back its costs inside 12 months or the ridiculous timeline originally stated. My opinion anyway.
