i think ASM would have made it a big selling point if KCF were taking part in the recent institutional placement. something along the lines of 'look our korean buddies are still with us 100% they are backing us, if they liked it at 8.90 they are loving it at 1.73'.
unfortunately KCF are a dead horse that ASM have hitched their wagon to. i have zero confidence any of the agreements we signed with them will take effect. we have yet to hear if Magnet Co is actually established. we have no idea what they are doing in terms of whipping up support for the equity and convertible note investments (probably nothing). these guys were a bunch of private equity type wannabes that ASM unfortunately latched onto because ASM seemingly were unable to secure direct deals with the chaebols.
if anyone attending the AGM can ask the board and management about these matters, that would be fantastic
