Also if the SPP is oversubscribed and they need to scale back, they will use a variety of factors to do so including if you have sold shares recently. They will generally preference larger holders, long term holders (versus traders), and those who have not recently sold.
e.g. I had a situation with BOE 6mths ago where I still had a large holding via family trust ac, but had taken some decent profits recently, and I got scaled back quite a bit. However the holding in my SMSF, which was smaller but had no sales, got a larger/full allocation.
