In repects your comments about "Some months ago I emailed the management with my concerns about the short position (and the obvious manipulation) and after 2 weeks received a polite but useless and irrelevant reply" . This behaviour and communication concerns me, as I know it does others. 6 weeks or so ago I had something similar - I asked some Q's of management (to do with fundementals not shorts), and it took 2 weeks to get a reply, and the reply wasnt helpful at all. I politely replied back, with a further comment that the commincation wasnt very helpful, that communication in general seemed to be below par, and that I hoped they could improve this aspect of their mgt style. 3 weeks later, just last week, I get a reply saying they hope the quarterly answered my Q's. I could list 5 other companies of similar or larger MC size that I have far superior communication with (incl Nic ALK), both quicker to repond and more helpful responses.
I can handle problems but I cant handle lack of communication. It crushes my faith in the calibre of mgt and their overall ability. No good having a great project and great tech if the mgt arent up to scratch. A great sailor can bring a leaky boat through rough seas safely. An average sailor can have a brillant boat and still run it aground.
I continue to hold a large parcel and hope my initial observations of mgt are wrong and a surface view only. Time will tell.
