Thats good @RabbitTrap with ANSTO back in the picture now that Hyundai are on slow go I had a feeling IC was back on.
I second your thoughts on a clearer picture. We need to help management get this thing done tho as I feel their processes are going to have them treading water
Here are my suggestions-
Do we have a good relationship with the Korean Government? Yes, then the CEOs next meeting should be with Mr. Kyu-yearn Hwang of KOMIR. A proper very nice meeting with tea and biscuits, and lots of photos, to develop a pathway for fast tracking the joint statement of cooperation. Then when the meeting is over, invite Mr. Kyu-yearn Hwang over to Australia, him and his wife and kids even, a trip paid for by ASM, they can stay at the Zoo in the Safari lodge, next to them in the other luxury cabin will be execs from Hyundai. The next day they all go out to site at Toongi, not the kids they can stay and do a zoo tour, all head out to Toongi led by Mike Sutherland (make sure you smile Mike), RS, IG, IC, KG, MP Dugald is there, NSW Department of Planning is there, ANSTO is there, Dominic Perrottet is there, not Matt Kean he cant come. No welcome to country thing Rowena, just get into drinks and nibbles, then some speeches, 2 flags in the background Rowena, just two South Korean and Australian, then after speeches separate into working groups to work out how to remove the conditions to the EPCD contract, my idea is to get the physical contract and just rip it up, then get a full speed committment to completing the EPCD by Hyundai. Now business is complete head over to the function centre in the Zoo for more drinking and Karaoke, kids can stay.
Now if Mr. Kyu-yearn Hwang says he is going to call you back, maybe thats his way of saying I have more important friends. If that happens Management should hand the Koreans the KMP. They can agree to pay us a royalty and to support production of metals to satisfy any future contracts, they also agree to offtake and metalize all Dubbo oxides once up and running. Maybe the gesture of handing them them KMP will get them back on the finance negotiation table for Dubbo.
