I bought ALK based on a Port Phillip recommendation many years ago. I was chasing rare earths and ended up with a gold company plus ASM. The gold was unexpected, but it funded Dubbo for quite some time. I don't think there is a white elephant at all. ASM have done something near incredible. We have a plant and partnership in South Korea. The metal tech is a beast which no one understands fully yet but may be our future. That is no small feat and speaks volumes to the cultural sensitivity of our management - PAST and PRESENT.
Slicer75 you are 100% correct, we are unique outside China. These guys are long term thinkers, almost generational thinkers.
