Gee the RBA annoy me sometimes lol.
First they want housing to slow but want to keep expansive monetary policy to boost the economy, then when they miraculously get what they want they look at greater expansionary policy to offset falling asset prices.
if they are not careful we will end up like the US and be caught with permanently low interest rates and limited ways of boosting the economy when a downtrend occurs.
Mostly I'm annoyed cause I fixed my interest rates for 5 years a couple years ago ha ha. We will see. But as usual it is hard to take away the cheap money once people get used to it.
