The bid is crazy cheap and is opportunistically timed since CWX has not exactly been shooting the lights out recently. Having said this, there's nothing wrong with opportunistic bids, that's what smart business people do.
Not sure if there are any other potential bidders out there - CWX has a mix of JV's and Projects so these may not fit in well with most potential predators strategies.
One thing is for sure, at $0.21 CWX is very undervalued if you look at the combined value of all its projects and if QGold Pty Ltd is successful in buying it at this price, IMO they will go on to make significant profits from the acquisition.
