True. Rookie might have been a bit harsh.
My gut feel is that they have a higher price at which they will be happy to take it out.
And that this is merely the starting point off which they can later increase.
If, say 80c is Geminder's line in the sand, then psychologically investors will be happier to accept 80c if it was a revised bid from 68c, than if 80c was the opening bid. Somehow people feel like they have "won" in the increased bid scenario, even though they end up with the same result.
