if I was him and wanted shares for cheap I would have done the same as him: install a CEO and complicit board members and push through decisions that put the company's growth on halt. in hindsight the way ANO got managed can be used as a guidebook on how to destroy shareholder value.
besides controlling electricity costs there is nothing they did right: personal , strategic choices, new projects... playing the wheel of fortune would have resulted in better decision making.
I stand by my point of view that their behavior is shady at best.
