Final interest payment and redemption of Series 15 Bonds - record date and
administrative trading halt

Trustpower Limited (Trustpower) is the issuer of series 15 subordinated bonds
(TPW070) (Series 15 Bonds).  The maturity date for the Series 15 Bonds is 15
December 2015. Trustpower intends to redeem for cash all Series 15 Bonds on
maturity.  A notice of redemption was sent to all Series 15 Bond holders on 6
November 2015.

The record date for the final interest payment date and the redemption is
Friday, 27 November 2015.

The final interest payment and the redemption amount will be paid on maturity
of the Series 15 Bonds.

NZX has advised that an administrative trading halt will be placed on the
Series 15 Bonds from the close of business on Tuesday, 24 November 2015.
